Antique French Glass Talhakimt pendant, early 1900s. 2 3/16" x 1 3/8". b11-rd-0846 Glass Pendants and the Burmese round rubyTalhakimt pendants were originally finger rings from India, made from agate (usually carnelian), but were often worn in Africa (mostly Mali and Mauritania) as hair and necklace ornaments. Eventually, the Czechs and other Europeans made glass copies of talhakimt pendants, in lots of sizes and colors. These are from the French factory of Bapterosse from the early 1900s. These are approximately 2 3 16 inches long and about 1 3 8 inches wide. They have
