we've found this species to be an extremely vigorous grower for a highland plant
The forms here produce stunningly flared peristomes and have an upright growth habit with some even climbing trees
It's a vigorous grower under highland and intermediate conditions
I'm unsure how diminutive this will actually stay as it matures
The petioles are ribbed and red on young plants
Nepenthes zakriana, BE-3465 grow light we've found this species toNepenthes zakriana BE 3465 is from the area around the abandoned Mamut Copper Mine in Sabah, Malaysia. This is a very interesting population since plants grow in very exposed areas under full sun. Note that this plant was previously classified under fusca; however, recent expeditions to the type locale have led to a revision of its taxonomy and split from fusca.
