A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the left facing portrait of Friedrich Wilhelm III, below is a banner with the dates 1813 1814 1815 over some laurel leaves, partially circumscribed with FRIEDRICH WILHELM III KNIG V. PREUSSEN (FRIEDRICH WILHELM III KING OF PRUSSIA), the reverse bears a central crowned cipher WR (Wilhelm Rex), with a sprig of laurel
