Château Massereau Cuvée K 2011 j-j-vincent Chateau Leoville Las Cases isA blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabertnet Sauvignon, 15% Cabertnet Franc & 10% Petit Verdot. Aged in oak barrel from 12 to 16 months 20 % new oak. It shows dark, plummy fruit character with a wisp of cedar, violet, tobacco, and smoke. Lean and savory on the palate but with a bit more density than the 2005, pretty dark berry fruits and dried green herbs marry well with a hint of blood orange peel. Very elegant and fantastic with a steak!
