Germany, Empire. A Telegrapher’s Belt Buckle, C. 1914 Auction Archive and Commemorative Cross for the(Telegraph Koppelschloss). Constructed of brass, the obverse with a separately applied nicke silver disk displaying the royal crown on a raised field, circumscribed Gott Mit Uns (God With Us) along with an open ended wreath below, a bracket is riveted to each side of the buckle via two rivets each for wires to be passed through, the reverse plain, depicting two solder points, a catch, and a standard dual prong spring bar, measuring 102 mm (w) x 46 mm
