Finland, Republic. An Order Of The Lion, Knight's Cross, C.1972 certificate_of_authenticity design with fixed suspender(Suomen Leijonan suurristi). Instituted in 1942. In silver with red and white enamels, gilt lion and centrepiece ring, maker marked with the A. Tillander Limited insignia, marked with the National crown, marked "830H" (830 Hopea = Silver), city marked with a boat (Helsinki) and date marked "T7" (1972) on the integral ring, measuring 40. 8 mm (w) x 45. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, on its original ribbon, intact enamels, extremely fine.
