Germany, Sa. A Sa Military Defence Badge Insignia Newly Listed Between 1932 and 1936 Oskar(Sturmabteilung Wehrabzeichen). Constructed of a red wool twill base, the obverse bearing a golden yellow machine embroidered SA Sports Badge insignia, unmarked, measuring 77 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), in extremely fine condition. Footnote: As per John R. Angolias Cloth Insignia of the NSDAP and SA,1985, page 228, the purpose of this insignia is unknown.
