His overseas service included nearly seven years in the East Indies and China for three and a half years
most of the stitching at the base of the top circular plate where it meets the body of the shako has come away and the leather liner has stiffened but has not become brittle

P. (A. R.), possibly maker A. Romanov; in extremely fine condition and a very rare make.
