A round bronzed medal; the obverse depicting the rightward facing bust of Carola, circumscribed by her name and title; the reverse inscribed Gestiftet fr hifreiche Nchstenliebe) (German Founded for charity) within an open ended oak wreath; on a loop for suspension from a period original ladies ribbon; measuring 27. 97 mm in diameter; weighing 14. 5 grams; in overall near very fine condition.
