Reuss, Principality. A Silver Medal Of Merit, C.1910 Buy Now Spikenard sunk by the fore(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1885 by Prince Heinrich XIV. (1885 1918 issue). A circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse bears the crowned cipher HR of Prince Heinrich, the reverse bears the inscription FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, unmarked, on suspension loop, measuring 32. 27 mm (w) x 36. 41 mm (h), weighing 12. 7 g, very fine.
