Constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a teardrop shaped frame surrounding a circular laurel and oak leaf wreath, with a threaded screw post emanating from the bottom, inset with a central 1914 Iron Cross II Class, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed and silvered frame, the obverse with a central initial W, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1914, the twelve oclock
